Ileostomy Blockage
Ileostomates (persons whose large intestine-colon is removed) are likely to experience a blockage of undigested food at some stage in their lives, caused by an insoluble fiber meal (seeds, nuts, bran, and pop corn). Early discovery of symptoms (slight cramping or flutter sensations) would be an advantage since situation can be rectified with simple remedies such as drinking hot plain black tea or grape juice.
