| Colon Ulcerative Colitis is the inflammation of the inner lining of intestine (colon) and the rectum. Both become red, swollen, and ulcerated. Symptoms are abdominal pain or cramping, rectal bleeding, and diarrhea. Less common are fatigue, appetite loss, and anemia. Some patients also have joint pain, redness, swelling, and liver problems. |
